N.Bar - Review

I was invited to review the Shellac Manicure service at N.Bar, and given that I've never been there before, I said hell yea! First impression? Colorful, chic, urban and squeaky clean! The staff were very friendly and quick (0 waiting time). I was greeted at the door with smiles and a drink of my choice. I was then lead to my station and was given a fan display of all their colors. The colors I chose was called Strawberry Smoothie, I usually go for light nude colors and french whenever I do Shellac, just because it's easier to paint over if need be.

The service was quick, thorough and friendly! They were so precise with their work which was amazing and the work was so good that my nails remained perfectly done for 3 weeks (only one finger got messed up two weeks after the service) and that's with typing, gym, and washing the dishes.

However, I have just one tiny complaint.. Entertainment! The TV displayed some random program, and it would've been great if they had some sitcom or music videos on there. The music was good though (a lot of 90's songs) and it wasn't very loud which is perfect for unwinding after a long loud day.

Final verdict: I give it not just a two thumbs up, but 10 perfectly manicured nails! :)

First Restaurant Review! GQ Bar!

GQ Bar is a modern yet cozy lounge. Why? Black furniture, fire flames and dimmed lights take over the space making you feel trendy yet at home (does that even make sense?!). Spanning across two floors, with a lounge, restaurant and a BEAUTIFUL indoor sheesha terrace. My friends and I sat in the sheesha area and ordered some amazingly flavored ones (they had strawberry-chocolate! but I got a Mango-Tango one and it was delicious) we then ordered some wings and shredded crab. The presentation of the food was superb and each dish was wayyy to pretty to eat. However, my favorite part of the whole experience was the service! The service was impeccable! Everyone was friendly and willing to help in suggestions and orders, it reached to point where my friend and I couldnt decide what drink to get and so our waiter went and created a mocktail just for us and it was delish! This place is a bit on the steep side, price wise, so I would suggest keeping it for a celebratory night out or a "I-just-got-my-paycheck" sort of outing.

What I liked:
Amazing service
Great tasting food (and pretty too!)
Trendy indoor terrace with cool looking furniture
Sheesha-friendly!

What I didn't:
The music wasn't really to my taste, then again I am an Elvis/Abba/The Cardigans kinda girl (Think anything 2000 and before! Except Indie Rock)
It was a bit expensive
